The awards celebrate women in technology and aims to tackle the issue of gender imbalance in the industry by showcasing the achievements of women in the sector and identifying new role models.
The Innovator of the Year category specifically recognises a company that has demonstrated outstanding innovation, customer wins and deployments in the last 18 months, in which a woman was integral to that success.
As Co-founder and Managing Director of ClearPeople, Katya Linossi champions digital change and has steered ClearPeople to be one of the foremost leaders in the future of work, creating intelligent digital workspaces that transform the way people go about their working lives.
On the nomination, Katya says: “As a female in a predominantly male industry, I’m fully aware of the challenges it can bring. I am delighted that the innovation we are achieving at ClearPeople has been recognised alongside some truly impressive women and their businesses. With the percentage of female IT leaders globally remaining at 9%, I’m so pleased that the Women in IT Awards are being celebrated and helping to redress diversity in the industry. I’m an advocate for women in tech and will continue to push the boundaries of what we can achieve.”
ClearPeople’s nomination highlights specific achievements in innovation over the past year and a half. We launched our product division, Think-5, tasked with bringing new services and solutions to market to transform ways of working by constantly innovating using the latest Microsoft technologies and finding ways to save five minutes. What’s more, we developed the Atlas framework which is more than just an intranet and takes businesses on a journey to an intelligent workspace. It’s a powerful alternative to the commoditisation and productisation of intranet solutions in the marketplace and allows organisations to effectively transform business productivity, improve efficiency and optimise customer and employee engagement. Coupled with our unique Success Services offering, ClearPeople puts technology adoption front and centre of all its developments, helping clients to introduce, integrate and continually develop their intelligent workspace to ensure it meets their ever-long requirements.
Results of the Women in IT Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony on 30th January at Grosvenor House, London.
